On Wednesday, June 12, the first capacity building event was held in Pisa at the Chamber of Commerce, located at P.zza V. Emanuele II, 5. Organized by the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Tuscany, the event began with an introduction to the SMARTIES project by Tiziana Cocchi and Laura Granata from the North-West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce. The event featured "The Phoenicians' Route," with Antonio Barone and Sara Ferrari conducting a focus on the territory.
The event delved into the topics of sustainability, digitalization, and regenerative tourism, laying the foundations for the future of tourism SMEs in the Mediterranean.
A call will be launched in November to finance innovative projects on these topics. We invite all companies to submit their innovative ideas and participate in the call for the opportunity to receive financial and technical support.
